Werkgroep ’72 is an aid organisation in Jakarta which supports social welfare projects to help the poor around the city. Its aim is to improve education, medical care, relief and shelter for street children and provide support and help the elderly.
Martin photographed at locations around Jakarta, including home for the aged, an orphanage and a school at the Bantar Gebang landfill site.
The photography was used in project calendar, diary and website.
It was wonderful to work together with Martin. He captured the moments so beautifully. People feel very comfortable around him and they don't "pose" resulting in very natural images.
