Ethiopia,Tigray Region. Abuna Yemata Guh is a monolithic church. In this region there are many churches hewn into the mountains. The entrance to this church is reached by a hazardous climb up a sheer rock face. The frescos in the church have been preserved by the dry desert conditions.
