Martin Broomfield has been involved in panoramic photography for the past 20 years. He has used this technique to illustrate many types of locations. He has also used it effectively as a documentary tool. Martin became a Pro Member of 360cities in 2009 and a Google Street View trusted Photographer, January 2018.

FULFORD PLACE

Fulford Place is a historic mansion in Brockville, Ontario. It was completed in 1901 for Senator George Taylor Fulford, a Canadian businessman and politician. The home is now a historic house museum with outstanding Edwardian era decorations,

UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO

Panoramic photographs of the reboiler at the Deprtment of Chemical Engineering, University of Waterloo. A reboiler is a heat exchanger that is used to transfer heat from a heating fluid to the liquid mixture undergoing distillation.

TOKYO SMOKE

Tokyo Smoke is a Canadian lifestyle brand. It sells legal recreational canibis in upmarket stores in Manitoba, Alberta and Ontario.

JAKARTA MEGA CITY

Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, has a population of 10.5 million people and is continuously growing. The city has horrendous traffic jams renowned throughout South East Asia. People continue to move to the city looking for work and places to live. Pollution is a never ending problem as is the pressure on local infrastructure.

SAGRADA FAMILIA, BARCELONA

Basílica de la Sagrada Família has been under construction for over one hundred years. It is the masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudí and is probably the most famous of all his buildings in Barcelona.

This sequence is from Martin’s personal collection. It was shot freehand, without a tripod. The original images were taken with a Nikon D200, 10.5mm lens, 30 RAW images in each panorama, exported as TIF and stitched in PTGui Pro. Edited together using Pano2VR and final edit in Photoshop.

THE JCC, JAKARTA INDONESIA

The JCC, is one of the largest convention sites in Indonesia and South East Asia. Established in 1992, the Jakarta Convention Centre spans around 30,000 sqm and comprises a round theatre-style hall (Plenary Hall), two exhibition halls (Exhibition Halls A & B), an Assembly Hall and many other meeting and exhibition areas.
